It measures the pressure of the air in the intake manifold so the engine control module can calculate air mass and adjust fuelling and ignition timing. For petrol applications 3. 0L supercharged V6 and 5. 0L V8 (naturally aspirated and supercharged); it does not fit diesel engines.
